Convert Recessed Light to Pendant Light
Tuesday, August 21, 2007
One of my friends had just purchased a house and was remodeling, among other things, his whole kitchen. One of the things he was doing was having an electrician change out some recessed lights (or canned lights) over his kitchen island with some fancy pendant lights. After hearing how much the electrician was going to charge him I suggested using this product I had seen in the back of a magazine. The Worth screw in pendant light converts a recessed light into a pendant light by screwing the new pendant light right into the existing light socket. My friend took my advice and the lights turned out fantastically and cost him a few hundred dollars less than what the electrician was going to charge. His only complaint was that the cover plate would not stay flush with the ceiling at first. But once he figured out how to adjust the tension everything worked perfectly. If you would like to update your house and were interested in adding some pendant lighting this product may save you a lot of time, money and trouble. http://www.worthhomeproducts.com/index.asp?page=light
