How to Make a Concrete Post Cap

This is a fantastic plan that I found on buildeazy.com. I have been looking for a good way to make a decorative post for the railing on the front of my house. This may be a big part of what I have been looking for. The cap is made from a simple mold created with a few pieces of wood and a piece of crown molding into which concrete is poured. I also found it interesting that they suggest using a mixture of 50% used car oil and 50% diesel as a concrete release agent. I am making this post cap the first chance I get.
