How to Build a Wooden Cornice from Lowes

I was just scanning the archives of Lowes' projects and found this one that I don't remember seeing before. Its a step-by-step plan on how to make a wooden cornice to install above your window. I like the detail they included on the different cornice examples and how you can change the look by just adding a few details. It looks like this would be very easy to build assuming you had the correct tools to do it. Another observation that I had about this project is how this project could be easily adapted to use as a fireplace mantel as well.
